"The King of the World", or El Rey del Mundo was developed in 1848 under the direction of Antonio Allones. Renown for its silky smooth wrapper it was one of the most expensive and successful cigars of the 19th and 20th Centuries. Due to the success of the brand the company was soon renamed to "El Rey del Mundo."
